The Fleet will be launching a new and amazing event... Sleepovers at the Fleet! Bring your pillows, sleeping bags, PJs and tooth brush and be ready to explore everything the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center has to offer. See the museum at a time when people rarely do - at night!
As the doors close and the lights dim for the evening, you and your
group will be able to experience the West
Coast Premiere of “GUITAR: The Instrument That Rocked the World” starting
December 2oth. Explore the history of the worlds most recognized musical instrument without the chaos of a busy museum - you have the exhibit all to yourself!
You will spend your night at the Fleet exploring all of our exhibits and galleries, enjoying a spectacular digital dome show, a scavenger hunt, and a DVD of your choice played in the dome theatre.
In the morning, we serve a light continental breakfast and activities conclude at 8:30am. Grab a souvenir to remember your magical night by at our North Star Science Store, which will open early at 8am exclusively for you to browse!
The sleepover is open to children ages 6 to 13 and a parent or guardian. Registration is from 6:15pm to 7:15pm on Friday night, and space is limited. Cost is $50 per child or adult.
